Description
Duration and Delivery
This online teaching assistant course is designed to be completed at the pace that suits you. It can take as little as 1 week, or up to 2 months, depending on your previous experience and your dedication to the course. The qualification is delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment, Moodle, on a self-study basis with 24×7 tutor support.
Assessment & Verification
All units within this course are internally analysed by our internal assessors and externally verified by the awarding organisation. The assessment takes the form of written assignments, detailed guidance for which will be provided by the tutor once you’re enrolled.

Career path
Completion of this teaching assistant training qualification enables learners to progress onto the Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (RQF), Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (RQF), the Level 3 Award in Education and Training, the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, or even the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
